Ryan Smith, Interim Pastor/Youth Pastor

Ryan joined the staff in April of 2008.  He was born in El Paso and grew up on the east side of town (go Troopers!).  He married his wife Megan in 2002 and they are blessed with their son, Noah.  Ryan graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ in 2003 with a BA in Biblical/Theological Studies.  He is currently working toward a MDiv from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.  Ryan served in two churches in Arizona from 2001-2008 before returning home to El Paso.  He has a passion to see students become followers of Christ who make their faith their own.  Ryan loves to hang out with students and could eat at Chico's Tacos at least once a week if possible.

In December 2009, Ryan stepped into the role of Interim Pastor here at Mt. Franklin.  He enjoys preaching God's truth on Sunday mornings and challenging people to live the lives that God created them to live.

Doris Valdovinos, Church Secretary

Doris joined the staff of the church in June 1996.  Doris and her husband, Carlos, were married in Los Angeles, CA before moving to El Paso in 1986.  They have three children, Carlos Jr., Matthew, and Michelle and have three grandchildren, Matthew, Gavin, and Giovanni. She accepted Christ as her Savior in her late 20's and was baptized here at Mt. Franklin.   Doris has been a member of Mt. Franklin for 21 years and has served the church as a Sunday School teacher for 20 years, AWANA leader for 13 years and has been part of the staff for 12 years.

Patrick Perez, Finance Manager

Patrick joined our staff in the summer of 2009.  He is involved in the worship team on Sunday mornings and loves music.
